Embraer Phenom 300E: The Complete Buyer's Guide

The Short Version
The Embraer Phenom 300E is the world's best-selling light jet — and has held that title for over a decade. It flies 2,010 nautical miles at speeds up to Mach 0.80, carries up to 10 passengers, and operates with single-pilot capability. Pre-owned examples trade between $7M and $12M. New list price is approximately $10.6M.

What Makes the Phenom 300E Different
1. Speed king of the light jet category
At Mach 0.80 max cruise, the Phenom 300E is the fastest light jet available — faster than the CJ4 (0.77), CJ3+ (0.72), and PC-24 (0.74).
2. Single-pilot certified with excellent automation
Prodigy Touch avionics (Garmin G3000-based) with single-pilot capability reduces crew costs by $150K–$200K per year.
3. Best-seller economics
Over 700 delivered means deep support, readily available parts, strong resale values, and a well-understood maintenance profile.
Who Is This Aircraft For?
- ●Owner-operators and small flight departments who value single-pilot capability.
- ●Regional business travelers flying 800–2,000 NM missions.
- ●First-time jet owners stepping up from turboprops.
- ●Charter operators looking for the most popular light jet with strong passenger demand.
When It's Not the Right Fit
- ●The cabin at 5'1" wide and 4'11" tall has no stand-up headroom. Flights over 2.5 hours with 6+ passengers become uncomfortable. If your typical mission involves more than 4 passengers or exceeds 2,000 NM, step up to a midsize jet.

The Pre-Owned Market Right Now
Market research reviewed October 8, 2026. Figures below retain their source dates and measurement basis.
The Jet Agent's September 2026 report places Phenom 300E asking prices at $11M–$14.35M and reported completed trades over its preceding six-month period at $9.9M–$15.4M. It reports 12 available aircraft, including one off-market, equal to 2.8% of the fleet; 18 retail sales included four off-market transactions.
Its current listings averaged 89 days on market, versus 143 days for aircraft that had sold. Inventory age and completed selling time measure different things, so the gap does not prove every new listing will sell faster.
Our reading: low availability and steady trading support a selective but active market. The overlap between asking and sold ranges also shows why a blanket discount to asking price is unhelpful. Later, lower-time aircraft and early 300Es need separate comparisons.
What to Watch For When Buying
1. 300 vs. 300E Distinction
The 300E (2018+) adds more range, Prodigy Touch avionics, redesigned cabin, and improved performance. The original 300 is worth less.
2. PW535E1 Engine Program
ESP enrollment commands higher resale values. Hot section inspections: ~$250K–$350K per engine.
3. Single-Pilot Configuration
Most are equipped for single-pilot ops. Verify insurance implications and training requirements.
4. Interior Condition
Light jet interiors take a beating. A full refresh runs $300K–$600K.
5. Connectivity
Verify Wi-Fi system — some older installations are slow SwiftBroadband. Modern expectations require Gogo AVANCE or equivalent.
