Bombardier Global 7500: The Complete Buyer's Guide

The Short Version
The Bombardier Global 7500 is the largest purpose-built business jet in current production (alongside the Gulfstream G700). It flies 7,700 nautical miles at Mach 0.85, offers a four-zone cabin stretching nearly 55 feet, and was the first business jet to break the Mach 0.90 barrier. With over 200 delivered since 2018, pre-owned examples trade between $55M and $75M.

What Makes the Global 7500 Different
1. The four-zone cabin, perfected
The Global 7500 was the first business jet designed from scratch around a four-zone cabin: dedicated club, conference/dining, entertainment, and master suite. At 54'7", the cabin is 8 feet longer than the G650ER. On 12+ hour flights, this layout is what makes ultra-long-range flying sustainable.
2. Smooth ride technology
Bombardier's proprietary Smooth Flèx wing uses active load-alleviation technology that actively counters turbulence. The Global 7500 delivers a measurably smoother ride than its competitors.
3. Kitchen galley that functions
The Global 7500's galley is the largest in business aviation — full-size oven, chiller, steam oven, and enough prep space to serve multi-course catering for 14 passengers. On a 16-hour flight, proper food matters more than you'd think.
Who Is This Aircraft For?
- ●UHNW principals and families who travel with entourages and need genuine living space.
- ●Corporate operators flying C-suite executives on global itineraries who need arriving refreshed, not just arriving.
- ●Middle Eastern, Asian, and Latin American operators connecting regions separated by 6,000+ NM.
- ●Owners upgrading from the Global 6000 who want the next generation of range, cabin technology, and ride quality.
When It's Not the Right Fit
- ●If your typical missions are under 4,000 NM, you're paying a premium for range you won't use. A Global 6500 or G650 offers excellent capability at lower cost.
- ●If cabin width is your top priority, the Gulfstream G650ER (8'6") is actually wider than the Global 7500 (8'0").

The Pre-Owned Market Right Now
Market research reviewed October 8, 2026. Figures below retain their source dates and measurement basis.
Dated market benchmark, reviewed October 8, 2026: Duncan Aviation's July 2026 guide gives Global 7500 Vref valuations of $49.17M–$80M across its listed vintages. This is a model-wide valuation reference, not a reported transaction range or a current seller quote; the upper end for an in-production type can include very new aircraft.
JetsIntel's September 2026 public model list tracks 12 Global 7500 aircraft. This describes its market database coverage, rather than the whole operating fleet or an independently verified count of aircraft available today.
Holstein's latest comparative market snapshot, with model sales dates through August 2026, shows 3 months of absorption for the Global 7500. Absorption relates listed supply to the source's measured selling pace and can change as aircraft enter or leave the market.
Holstein's three-month absorption measure points to limited stock relative to its recent sales pace. A Global 7500 with a Global 8000 upgrade offer is a separate proposition from an unmodified 7500; delivery of the modification and its contractual scope affect the premium.
The public market supplies a useful price anchor: Avpro advertises 2018 SN 70006 at $59.995M with 2,787 hours, updated August 24, 2026. GlobalAir's six listing records include the same 2020 serial 70023 offered through two brokers, so six advertisements should not be read as six unique aircraft.

What to Watch For When Buying
1. GE Passport Engine Program
The GE Passport is a purpose-built engine for the Global 7500. It's performed well, but it has a smaller installed base than Rolls-Royce alternatives. Ensure enrollment in GE's OnPoint program for predictable costs.
2. Cabin Configuration Complexity
Four zones with infinite configuration possibilities means every Global 7500 is different. Reconfiguring can cost $3M–$6M. Prioritize finding an aircraft whose layout already works.
3. Smooth Flèx Wing System Health
The active load alleviation system is sophisticated. Verify all components are functioning and software is at the latest revision. Maintenance shops experienced with this system are fewer.
4. Connectivity and CMS
The Global 7500's cabin management system (nice Touch CMS) is capable but complex. Verify all components are functioning, firmware is current, and the connectivity package meets your standards.
5. Landing Gear and Brake Wear
At 114,850 lbs gross weight, the Global 7500 is heavy. Landing gear and brake wear patterns matter. Review the maintenance records for any unusual wear or component replacements.
Global 7500 vs. The Competition

vs. Gulfstream G700
The direct rival. The G700 has a slightly longer cabin and faster top speed. The Global 7500 counters with a more established fleet, smoother ride (Smooth Flèx), and better pre-owned availability.

The G650ER is smaller and less expensive, but offers a wider cabin. For operators who prioritize value, the G650ER at $25M–$60M pre-owned is significantly more accessible.

Dassault's upcoming flagship promises the widest cabin (9'1") with a flat floor throughout. But it hasn't entered service yet. The Global 7500 is flying, proven, and available today.
